"Markets reward attention. Capital should allocate on endurance. Atomic measures endurance."
ATOMIC is a Solana-native Proof of Conviction protocol. It transforms subjective market belief into objective, time-weighted, on-chain signal — creating a truth layer that sits above trading platforms as a conviction index and below them as an enforcement layer.
The core mechanism is the Conviction Commitment: an operator locks tokens for a fixed duration. The protocol measures not just how much they locked, but how long they are willing to wait. This time-weighted signal aggregates across all operators into a Project Conviction Weight (PCW) for each asset — a public, manipulation-resistant measure of sustained belief, upstream of price and yield.
V2 introduces Reward Markets: a structured mechanism by which projects can allocate token rewards to operators who contribute Conviction Weight (CW) meeting specific criteria, purchased at a fixed price. This transforms ATOMIC from a passive signal layer into an active coordination engine between projects and their most committed believers.
Speculative markets are loud. Anyone can say they believe in an asset. The signals that exist today — price, volume, social engagement, TVL — all measure attention, not commitment. They are easily gamed, transient, and tell you nothing about the durability of belief behind capital.
This creates three compounding failures:
Information Failure. Genuine long-term conviction is indistinguishable from short-term speculation in the data. Projects cannot identify their true believers. Investors cannot distinguish authentic community from manufactured hype.
Capital Misallocation. Without a commitment signal, capital flows toward noise rather than signal. Protocols designed for long-term value creation compete for the same attention as schemes designed to extract it, and the market cannot tell them apart.
Coordination Failure. Projects want to reward genuine supporters, but have no reliable way to identify them. Airdrops reward holders, not believers. Engagement rewards are gamed by bots. There is no mechanism to price and distribute rewards specifically to operators who have proven conviction through locked capital.
ATOMIC makes belief costly, visible, and durable.
